Thanks for sharing, I think neurome is my new favourite word.

As I was reading, my brain was already identifying all the spaces that could fit this term (all my safe spaces).

I loved reading this Kate… even reading the words “quiet room” made me feel happy & safe. Sounds like a wonderful conference with great respect for difference. I love learning new words, thanks for introducing me to ‘neurome’ (neuro me!)

I have certain WhatsApp groups that are neuromes, the most active of which was formed as a result of a reading retreat we all went on last year. The peace and joy we all felt, finally able to unmask en masse. It was something else.
