meeting you has made me feel like I have another quantum particle out there being icky. I really appreciated our chat it was a real highlight. I look forward to more talk of the Bifrost and our worlds of disconnection. xxxxx your friend the #Hobopoet
I loved reading this Kate… even reading the words “quiet room” made me feel happy & safe. Sounds like a wonderful conference with great respect for difference. I love learning new words, thanks for introducing me to ‘neurome’ (neuro me!)
I have certain WhatsApp groups that are neuromes, the most active of which was formed as a result of a reading retreat we all went on last year. The peace and joy we all felt, finally able to unmask en masse. It was something else.

Thank you for helping me realise the neurome is makeable. Here’s to more spooky action at a distance & not at a distance xxxxx
Online has always been a neurome. Ironically, my Substack is the latest in a series of locales.
Thanks for sharing, I think neurome is my new favourite word.
As I was reading, my brain was already identifying all the spaces that could fit this term (all my safe spaces).
Reading this calmed me down. Didn’t know about the quiet room ethos
